Gambling was a way of life for some, a way to end life for others. One one occasion a cardsharp took an extreme dislike to a cowboy over the affections of a particularly pretty soiled dove. After taunting and bottom dealing him all night the card shark, backed up by his crew, signaled his intent to do the cowboy in with an especially nasty hand.

Shooter starts seated at table holding cards close to vest with both hands, both pistols on table, rifle staged safely and loaded with 10 rounds, shotgun staged open and empty.

When ready call out Aces & Eights? I need that like a hole in the head!

At the buzzer:

- Pick up first pistol and engage the cardboard pistol target across the table with 5 shots while seated.
- Return pistol to table.
- Then stand and with second pistol engage the three steel pistol targets in a Nevada sweep.
------Gunfighters-first 5 shots on the crooked dealer (cardboard). Carefully stand then second five shots a Nevada sweep on steel.
- Holster second pistol or place on table.
- Pick up throwing knife from table, move to right window and throw knife at the hay bale. Shooter gets 5 second bonus for sticking a knife in the bale.
- Move to left window and with rifle triple tap any three rifle targets, load three rounds (or single load three times) and triple tap any other rifle target. Plainsman triple tap the two furthest rifle targets.
- With shotgun knock down the two targets.
