A small but growing group of CAS types have been gathering
every other Thursday for lunch. We shift places frequently to protect the
innocent, but it'll always be within 20 miles or so of Ontario International
Airport. The only agenda is to meet other like-minded folks, share stories,
enjoy each others company, eat mediocre modestly priced food, and suffer
varying degrees of service. Mostly its just a fun thing to do.
If you want to join us, get in touch with me and let
me know. We aren't screening anyone, but we need to know how many to plan
for. I figure if we get over a hundred we may have trouble getting adequate
seating.
.
If you have a favorite place, let me know by e-mail
and it will be added to the list. |

Notice:
If you have wanted to join us but live too far, consider
starting your own Grumpy Lunch Bunch Chapter. All it would take is a willingness
to find a place to eat that will handle a group of 10 or so and spread
the word to your local cas shooters. Forty Rod can supply free
advice, suggestions, a certain amount of heckling, etc. Ours works well
for us, but your milage may vary.
If you send Cliff
Hanger <cliffhanger@cliffhangershideout.com> your name, contact
information with the location and date of your scheduled lunch, he will
make a place for you here on the Grumpy Lunch Bunch web page. Cliff Hanger
will update your lunch locations when you send it to him.
We won't even charge you a franchise fee or royalties.....but
if we show up to your GLB event somebody had better make room at the table.
